Our Passport to Success scheme has greatly encouraged our students to come to the centre and engage in the sessions. This scheme is incredibly valuable for motivating the students and also improving their geographical knowledge.
Every session, our tutors will pay attention to which students are engaging and contributing the most. This student will then receive a coin that is worth 5 points that they can save up or spend. This is a great way to motivate the students to become more involved in the sessions.
As our students receive coins, they move across a map, exploring various geographical locations. If a student lands on a Star City, they receive a coin worth 20 points.
That isn’t all. Our students also have the opportunity to cash their points in for prizes from our rewards cupboard. The more points they have, the better the prizes, so this scheme really encourages our students to gain a better understanding of saving which will be incredibly beneficial as they mature.
